Donà Hartman worked in Terlano for eight years before starting his vineyard in 2002. His vineyard is 450 metres above sea level in Cornaiano, near Bolzano of Alto Adige. He takes care of underappreciated 40 to 50-year-old vines in the area planted on soils from glacial deposits. His motto is to create wines 'with elegance and harmony, with Alpine freshness and a mineral-rich quality'.
It is his philosophy to adopt sustainable production processes in the vineyards and the cellar. The wines express a remarkable capacity for development and are therefore extraordinarily long-lived.
The Sauvignon Blanc displays all its delicate flavour and floral qualities. It certainly does not raise its voice among its varietals with its intense aromatic character. The scent is sophisticated and elegant, with delicate notes of peach and apricot. On the palate, it shows freshness, minerality and a persistent finish thanks to its lively acidity.
