Vintage and Climate: This vintage will be remembered for the heat wave
by the end of June, with temperatures up to 43ºC which especially
affected Carignan. A warm summer with rains that refreshed the
vineyard and allowed optimal conditions for healthy, concentrated and
well-balanced grapes. High quality with slightly lower yields.
Elaboration and ageing: Grapes picked by hand using 10 kg. boxes.
Selection in vineyards and at the entrance of the winery. Classification
berry by berry on a double sorting table in the winery. Aging of 8
months in second year French oak barrels.
