This wine is from a Chasselas plot in Marin one of the Savoie sub-appellations. The vines are planted on glacial moraines, gravel and granite pebbles.
The yield is 35hl/ ha, the Chasselas grapes are manually picked by hand in two passages for optimum ripeness. Soft pressing with fermentation at 16 °C. The wine is then aged in cement eggs and 500L Demi-muids for 7 months, then undergone light filtration and less than 30 mg/ L of sulphur is added during bottling.
Light straw color with green and golden reflection. A woody character where the subtle fruit is complemented by flint, alpine flowers, citrus zest and lemon balm. A light palate, fine minerality on the finish.
