This wine is from a plot in Crépy, one of the Savoie sub-appellations facing the West and Lac Léman. The vines are planted on glacial moraines, molasse and yellow clay. The Altesse cuttings were from his close friend, Dominique from the famous Domaine Belluard, by massal selection.
The yield is 35hl/ ha, the grapes are manually picked by hand in two passages for optimum ripeness. Soft pressing with fermentation at 16 °C. The wine is then aged in concrete eggs for 7 months before a light filtration on white soil, less than 30 mg/ L of sulphur is added during bottling.
Pale gold hue, green and mother-of-pearl reflection, the nose offers a rustic expression where the refined fruit is surrounded by floral notes, hawthorn, candied citrus fruits. The palate combines liveliness and nervous tension. Perfect for poultry and cheese.
