The vineyards are located in the municipalities of Marano di Valpolicella and the municipalities of Fumane, within the DOC Classica area at an altitude of 420 meters above sea level.
Late harvest is done by hand in crates. The grapes are de-stemmed (not pressed) and processed by gravity, followed by cold maceration in steel tanks for 12 days and fermentation at a controlled temperature. The refinement takes place for about ten months in stainless steel and then for another four months in the bottle.
The wine is deep and bright ruby red. Bouquet is reminiscent of cherries and fresh berries, highlighted on the palate through a light veil of tannins. Slightly herbaceous in the mouth, it is full-bodied, dry, round, with character, with a persistent and fruity aftertaste. It can be served throughout the meal, from appetizers to main courses. Acts as an excellent companion with grilled meats or medium-aged cheeses.
